What services do you offer?

We offer individual, family and group counseling as well as counseling for drug and alcohol abuse; counseling involving divorce issues; couples counseling; child and adolescent counseling.  In addition to counseling, we offer Woman in Transition, a program for displaced homemakers wishing to return to the workforce after divorce, death or disability of a spouse. We also offer the I Can Problem Solve program which teaches childrenn HOW to think, not what to think.

What are your fees?

Our fees are $90 for individual counseling and $45 for group counseling.  We have a sliding scale fee, based on income.

Yes. We accept Visa and MasterCard

Yes.

Do you accept insurance? If so, what insurance do you accept?

Yes.  We accept insurance.  We recommend you contact your carrier to find out your benefits and to find out if we are in your network.

Do you have inpatient services?

No, only outpatient services.

Do you have marriage counseling?

Yes.  We do have marriage, family and couples counseling.  We also offer relationship improvement coaching.

Do you counsel children?

Yes, we do child and adolescent counseling.

Do you have group/individual counseling?

Yes, we have both group and individual counseling for adults and individual counseling for adolescents and children.

Do you have an Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center (IDRC) program?  If so, how long is it?

Yes, we offer a program that satisfies the IDRC requirements.  The program consists of a minimum of 16 weeks to one year depending on the client.

Is there a psychiatrist on staff?

We do not have a psychiatrist staff.

What credentials do counselors have?

Our clinicians are on the Masters level, licensed, experienced and supervised by our Clinical Director.

How do I make an appointment?

Call the agency to receive our paperwork/application, which needs to be completed and returned to us.  When we receive your completed paperwork, we will call you to set up an appointment.  This process can be completed within a week.

What are your hours?

We are open 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday and Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Yes, we are open until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday.

Where are you located?

We are located at 1022 Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne (Passaic County) at the intersection of Church Lane and Hamburg Turnpike (next to Burger King).

Are there bus stops nearby?

Yes.  There is one across the street and another at the intersection of Alps Road and Hamburg Turnpike.  Bus #197 runs from Pompton Lakes to the Paterson corridor.

Yes.  We have a listing of both meetings in the area.  Call the agency or 1-800-ALA-CALL.
